“While I feel like I've been trying to "get healthier" forever, it really kicked in for me as I approached my 50's. I wanted to be able to keep up with the grandkids, explore towns and cities we travel to, and be comfortable in my own skin. Nearly 6 years after deciding to make some changes, I can honestly say I’ve achieved what I set out to do. While I’m continuing my journey toward a healthier lifestyle, it would be remiss of me not to say “Thank You” to my trainers that have pushed me to be my very best and caught me when I fell back a bit. Sam and Tyler have always had my back and provided support when I needed it and I’ll be forever grateful for the knowledge, expertise and laughs they’ve shared. Most recently, I owe a huge “Thank You” to Sheree for zoning in on my strengths, weaknesses, and body type to have me “beach pose” ready for my most recent birthday on South Beach, Miami.”

“At a very unstable time in my life, I moved to a different state away from my hometown and friends and family who had always been my main support system. Already overweight, out of shape, I became very lonely and stressed. I started going to the gym because I was looking for an escape but found myself! I hired a personal trainer. I soon discovered that working out was an emotional outlet. I felt my best when I was in the gym. However, no matter how hard I exercised, I was not getting the results that I thought I should be getting! I finally had my epiphany: I eat my feelings. I am an emotional eater. When I was happy, I would celebrate with food. When I was sad, I would comfort myself with food. When I was stressed, I would soothe myself with food. I hired a nutrition coach. This changed everything! Suddenly I was not only SEEING the results, I was also FEELING the results. I quickly started liking how I looked, but I also began to like how I felt.”

“When I started this journey, I wanted to make sure I was taking steps to be in better health and a good role model for my daughter who is now 11. I reached out to Sheree and I am so thankful I did. Not only has this given me the confidence to be back in a gym like when I was younger, but the mental impact has been amazing. My workouts now are just as much for my mental health than my physical health. Sheree encourages and pushes me to do my very best. We have both laughed and cried getting through the workouts.
